LXORY iWatch Charger

This product review is for iWatch Charger for Apple Watch by LXORY, specifically for Wireless Charging Stand Compatible with Watch Series 4, 3, 2, 1.

I bought Apple Watch Series 4 this past year and also bought a watch stand for my bedroom side table so I can charge my watch while I'm sleeping and it can be used as a night stand.
However, I needed an extra charger for my travel so that I don't have to keep taking the charger in and out from the watch stand but I didn't feel like spending $30 for a charger so I first purchased magnetic portable charger for $10.99, which turned out to be a junk. I guess you get what you pay for...


So this time, I decided to spend a little more and buy this charging stand for $25. Although, I could have bought authentic Apple brand charger for $30, I bought this one because it was compact and the charger was already integrated with the nightstand, and I figured I would also save $5 as well. Well, it turned out to be another mistake...

First of all, the stand does not have enough space for Apple Watch to sit on so I have to pay close attention and be extra careful when placing my Apple Watch on the stand so that it does not slip off the stand. This is not that big of deal compared to my next problem, which is the fact that charger would start charging my Apple Watch but after 5 or 10 minutes, it would stop charging for some reason (similar to the cheapo magnetic charger I bought before).


If you look at the box label (see picture), you will see that it does not mention Apple Watch Series 4 so maybe this charging problem is only specific to Series 4 and not older models.


Regardless, the seller mentions that this charger is compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 so this is not acceptable. That's strike 2 for me so I'm now returning this charger as well and ordered authentic charger made by Apple for $29. Once I receive the charger, I will test it out and write another review but I'm sure it will work just fine... again, you get what you pay for...
