USB Conference 360 Omnidirectional Microphone with Mute button
a MUST-HAVE for remote learning and online meetings!
My daughter has to participate in remote learning once in a while and she also does online play dates with her friends often using Google Meet or Zoom.
We bought her a nice 4K webcam with mic and speakers built-in but her friends say they can't hear well too clearly when the webcam is on the top of the monitor, so I often find my daughter taking the webcam off monitor to place it close to her. Problem with this is that webcam is way too close to her for the video. I finally decided to get her a dedicated microphone and decided to give this a try and it was the right choice.
This is similar to one of those microphones I've seen at work in a conference room where anyone in the room can just speak from their chair for clear conversation. It has a modern USB-C connector to the microphone but the cable is connected to a regular USB-C port and it's plug and play with Windows computer but the best part is that the microphone works really well even far away and the other party has indicated that they can hear us very clearly.
It also has a simple orange mute button so you can easily and quickly mute the microphone with a touch of a button without fumbling with the mouse and computer. There's a blue light that is on when microphone is working and the light turns off when it's in mute. It would have been better if the blue light turned red when in mute but this is not a deal breaker.
The USB cable is over 6ft long so this would work great even in a large conference room where you need to place it in the middle of the table. Amazing microphone with high performance and simple to use. Almost perfection. Easily 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend it without any reservation!
