This product review is for Good Grips 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer by OXO.
My wife prepares salad for my lunch every day and she always cuts and adds avocado inside the salad. I love avocado and in the rare occasions when I don't find avocado in my salad, I get disappointed
However, earlier this year, my wife had a freaky accident while cutting an avocado that wasn't ripe and she cut her hand really bad... so bad that she needed full body anesthesia for microscopic surgery for nerve reconstruction on her hand.
Ever since that incident, she just couldn't cut avocado anymore and I didn't want to give up eating avocado so I started looking for a kitchen tool for it and this is what I found.
As you can see from the picture above, it's actually very easy to use and makes the job really fun and safe!
If you can't live without avocado then this is a must-have for your kitchen.

- Makes the cutting of avocado easy and safe

- You always need to use both sides of the tool so you have to hold it in the middle or you end up getting messy hand
- Avocados sometimes get stuck in the slicer so you have to poke them out
My Wishlist
- I wish there was an easy way to get avocado out of the slicer when it sticks
