MARCHWAY Lightweight Folding Tent Camping Cot Bed with Lever Lock
1000 times better than air mattress!!! LOVE IT and read to find out why...
We are a family of 5 with 3 children. We love going on vacation and road trips over night but it's a stress whenever we stay at a hotel or a vacation rental because they usually have 2 Queens beds and not always have a sofa bed. Our kids are older now so it's no longer a viable option to share a Queen bed with 2 other siblings. Therefore, we started bringing Twin air mattress with us whenever we stay at a hotel. At first, sleeping on an air mattress was better than sleeping on the floor with sleeping bag but inflating and deflating air mattress is a pain in the neck, not to mention there are times we forgot to bring 4 AA batteries for the inflator. When we went camping with my friend's family last summer, they brought a folding cot bed and I finally decided to replace our air mattress with this folding cot bed and I regret that I didn't do this sooner because it's 1000 times better than air mattress, which I will explain in details why.
WHAT I LIKE:
✔️ It's not only smaller and more compact in size when stored in the storage bag compared to the air mattress but it's actually lighter as well! Who knew that deflated and folded air mattress weights so much.
✔️ It comes with a zippered storage bag where everything fits inside nicely and has a carrying handle as well as a should strap! It's really pain in the neck trying to put back the deflated air mattress into the box. I wish the air mattresses also come with a storage bag.
✔️ Quick and easy to setup without needing a battery or electricity. I love the hinge design of the crossbar rods on this cot where it can be unlocked to help with angle when putting it on the main frame bars, which automatically locks in place when pushed in. Never need to worry about forgetting to pack batteries for the inflator, not to mention it's 100 times faster to set it up.
✔️ More comfortable and stable compared to air mattress. No more lopsided or being too bouncy due to losing air on the air mattress, and the cot is very firm and comfortable.
✔️ Just as easy to take down and store back in the bag. No more deflating, stepping on air mattress to push the air out and impossible folding neatly to put it back in the box.
✔️ It also has a side pocket for storing your phone and/or wallet.
WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
⛔ My kids are now fighting over to sleep on the cot rather than sharing a Queen bed with another person at the hotel.
BOTTOM LINE:
This folding cot bed is a no-brainer and a MUST-HAVE for campers or those who are always on the road and needs extra bed. It's even great for outdoor and camping as it raises you up off the hard ground. With just over 6feet long in length and 28inches wide, it can accommodate most people up to 330lbs in weight. I can't say enough good things about this cot. I only regret that I didn't find out about this amazing cot earlier. I will probably get more before we go to our annual camping trip in the summer. Easily 10 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend it without any reservation!
