Yes, it's true. Plank is one of the best exercises for your whole body but especially for your core/abs.
I actually have compression elbow pads just for planks but I finally decided to get this plank board because
1) My elbow pads get sweaty when my arms sweat
2) My wife wanted to also start doing planks and I didn't feel like buying another compression elbow pads for my wife
This plank board is perfect for plank as it provides great support and cushion for your forearms during the plank position. It also has adjustable handles for beginners that need someone to hold on to when plank gets difficult.
I'm not going to lie but the interchangeable bases are extremely difficult as I can barely do regular plank on flat surface. You really need some serious core muscles, strength, and balance in order to use any interchangeable bases that makes the board wobble and rock side to side.
Luckily, you don't have to use the interchangeable bases if you are just a beginner like me but it's good to know that I can up my game and use these bases when I get better and stronger.
5 out of 5 stars! Highly recommend this plank board to anyone who enjoys doing plank or wants to add plank to your regular exercise routine. You won't regret it. It's painful but your whole body feels so good afterwards.
