BeeGreen Drawstring Backpack Bag with Shoe Compartment

looking for perfect sports bag but BeeGreen is NOT it... READ for details

My daughter plays volleyball and she needs to carry her indoor volleyball shoes, knee pads, elbow pads, water bottles, and sometimes a volleyball. I was looking for a perfect sports bag that can accommodate her needs and I ended up buying 4 different sports bag in order to find the perfect bag for my daughter and unfortunately, this BeeGreen sports bag did not make the cut...

This BeeGreen was the first bag that I found and purchased, and I initially thought this was the best bag so I ended up buying two of these (black and green color) so I can give one to my son as well. Well, I do love the side zippered shoes compartment for this BeeGreen, other the fact that there's no air ventilation. This is one big flaw in the design since the shoes stinks after playing sports and you want some air ventilation to let the odor out rather than being trapped inside the shoes compartment. Many sports bags like this have a separate pocket for shoes but not many actually have air ventilation design but only the few that really knew how the sports bag should be made had air ventilation.

My daughter was willing to live without the air ventilation for the shoe compartment because she really likes the bag, size, style, and wide shoulder straps but the biggest flaw with this bag was that the two side mesh pockets were not big enough to fit the standard Gatorade water bottles... It does fit a regular water bottles but most kids have these Gatorade water bottles so they can refill the water at home and air sip out of it. I'm not sure why they made the mesh pocket so tight and not elastic enough to hold these sports water bottles... This was the deal breaker for my daughter so I ended up purchasing 3 other similar sports bags in order to find the perfect one for my daughter. Here is my comparison and findings:

1) BeeGreen bag: Price is good, material is nice, love the side shoes compartment but no air ventilation and the side mesh pockets can't hold the sports water bottles.

2) K Y KANGYUN bag: big and deep side mesh pockets that can hold sports water bottles and shoes compartment has enough space but no air ventilation, and it's a big awkward to put shoes inside the shoe compartment for some reason. Price is good.

3) Beewin bag: Side mesh pockets can hold sports water bottles AND it has 2 side zippered pockets that can also hold the sports water bottles. This bag has the best design for carrying sports water bottles BUT the shoes compartment is too small and can only hold 1 shoe, not to mention it doesn't have air ventilation.

4) GOBUROS bag: The most expensive bag out of 4 but at just over $20, it's still good price. It has large shoes compartment and has air ventilation design. The side mesh pockets can hold the sports water bottles and has inner PVC pocket for storing wet garment. Very spacious inside and high quality material.

CONCLUSION:

I would say BeeGreen is my 2nd favorite bag from these but it's very unfortunate that it doesn't have air ventilation for the shoe pocket and that side mesh pockets are too small. I really hope that they will addresses these 2 poor design for the next version of their bag. I would recommend the GOBUROS bag and they actually have many different bags tailored for different sports. Looks like GOBUROS know what they are doing with their sports bags.
