great dual dashboard camera at super compact size
I got this camera for my son's car, who recently started to drive at age 18 so I wanted to make sure things are recorded in case of accident or emergency as proof of evidence. What's great about this camera is that it also records inside of car so I can find out if my son was paying attention or doing something that he shouldn't have. This makes him more conscious and drive more safely.
This is very compact dash cam that does not obstruct the view of the windshield at all. It came with very long power cable that plugs into the car's cigarette lighter socket and the adapter has a USB-A port so you can charge another device, if needed. It was super easy to install and ready to use. I only wish that it came with micro-SD card so it can be used immediately out of the box but this is not a deal breaker for me as I have many micro-SD cards at home for my digital cameras but if you don't have one then you will need to get one.
The quality of the video recorded is very good as it has 4K camera but you can change it down to 2K or 1080P, which are still high definition quality. The inside camera records at 1080P resolution and has infrared lights so it can still record inside the car in black and white at night time driving, which is really cool.
I also love that it can connect to the installed app on my iPhone for real time viewing or transferring recorded video when needed so I don't have to take out the micro-SD card from the camera. Overall, excellent dashboard camera that can record both outside front and inside the car. Highly recommend it.
